This is a tour for those who truly want to know the real Reykjavík. We will combine tourist hot spots with local favorites, holes-in-the-wall, and crazy stories about the town. Yes, we will talk history, but we will also talk weird crimes, celebrity sighting stories, cultural traditions, and local antics. We combine this unique story format with all the best sites around town, lots of stops for snacks, and the best local shopping recommendations.

    Listen, we will stand in line with you, we will give you recommendations, we will wink at the cashier. But for now, all food, drink, and souvenirs are on you.

    Please note

      This is a two and a half hour walking, eating, drinking, and talking tour. Be prepared to walk all over town, eat some food, drink and listen to tea, and have crazy stories acted out for you in all their glory. 

      Also, Iceland weather is a fickle, feisty beast. You should wear warm, waterproof layers and be prepared for whatever mother nature throws at us. 

      What to bring

        Tour takers should have a payment method handy for any food, drink, or souvenirs they wish to purchase. Tour takers should also bring a fun attitude and a good pair of waterproof walking shoes.
